{"id":61802,"date":"2022-06-29T18:13:50","date_gmt":"2022-06-29T16:13:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/zimbabwe\/all-news\/mugabes-daughter-son-in-law-ordered-off-part-of-mazowe-farm"},"modified":"2022-06-29T21:19:08","modified_gmt":"2022-06-29T19:19:08","slug":"mugabes-daughter-son-in-law-ordered-off-part-of-mazowe-farm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.cc\/zimbabwe\/all-news\/mugabes-daughter-son-in-law-ordered-off-part-of-mazowe-farm","title":{"rendered":"Mugabe\u2019s Daughter, Son-in-law Ordered Off Part Of Mazowe Farm"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>A High Court judge has ordered Bona Mugabe and her husband and Simbarashe Mutsahuni to vacate parts of their Mazowe farm.<\/p>\n<p>This comes after the National Tested Seed approached the High Court claiming ownership of part of Extent of Sigaro Farm in Mazowe measuring 168 hectares.<\/p>\n<p>Bona and Simba did not oppose the application prompting Justice Munamato Mutevedzi to deliver a default judgement in favour of the National Tested Seed.<\/p>\n<p>Mutevedzi ruled that if the couple fails to adhere to the order, the Sheriff will move in on them. The ruling reads in part:<\/p>\n<p>National Tested Seed be and is hereby, forthwith, restored full control, occupation and possession of the remaining Extent of Sigaro (S\/D 3) in the District of Mazowe measuring approximately 168 hectares in extent.<\/p>\n<p>Simba and Bona Mutsahuni and any person acting through them are hereby directed, forthwith, to allow National Tested Seed full control, occupation and possession of the remaining Extent of Sigaro (S\/D 3).<\/p>\n<p>In the event that Simba and Bona, and all persons claiming occupation through them, neglect or refuse to comply with any of the above, the Sheriff of the High Court or his lawful deputy are hereby ordered to remove respondents and any persons, acting through them, and any movable property introduced by them, or remaining on the Extent of Sigaro (S\/D 3) in the District of Mazowe\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Justice Mutevedzi also ruled that Bona and Simba shall pay costs if they attempt to oppose the order.
