Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>Exiled former Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister, Professor Jonathan Moyo, has accused the opposition Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) led by Nelson Chamisa of creating a \u201cfake\u201d poster to \u201cimpact public opinion.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moyo and the opposition party have been at loggerheads recently after he advised the latter to establish structures and come up with a constitution.<\/p>\n

The Political Science Professor even suggested that parties without a constitution must not be allowed to contest any election.<\/p>\n

The poster which Moyo is distancing himself from suggested that he was running for ZANU PF\u2019s presidential office and would represent the party in the 2023 elections.<\/p>\n

In response, Moyo said the move was unacceptable and possibly criminal. He said:<\/p>\n

Surely we can differ on issues without resorting to dirty tactics? This unfair #CCC poster \u2013 which impersonates me to subliminally impact public opinion \u2013 is completely unacceptable, and possibly criminal. It is outside the bounds of common decency and God is certainly not in it!<\/p>\n

Moyo left the country in 2017 following the ouster of then-President Robert Mugabe.<\/p>\n

Back then, some accused him of harbouring ambitions of becoming the president. They said he was using former first lady, Grace Mugabe to position him to succeed Mugabe.<\/p>\n

He was allegedly one of the leaders of a relinquished ZANU PF faction, Generation 40 (G40).<\/p>\n
