Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>CAPS United ended a seven-match winless streak in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League with a 2-1 victory over Harare City at the National Sports Stadium on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Makepekepe picked the win courtesy of William Manondo\u2019s two strikes on either side of half-time.<\/p>\n

The forward opened the scoring in the 17th minute before completing his brace from the spot in the 52nd minute.<\/p>\n

Harare City got their consolation just after the hour through Zorodzai Semure.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, reigning champions FC Platinum moved to the top of the premiership table following their convincing victory over Chicken Inn on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The Platinum Boys cruised to a 3-0 win at Luveve Stadium, thanks to a Walter Musona brace, and a Nomore Chinyere goal, all coming in the first half.<\/p>\n

In another Castle Lager Premiership match played on Saturday, Black Rhinos edged ten-man Herentals 2-1.<\/p>\n

The Students finished the game with a man short following Tinotenda Benza\u2019s straight red card for an off-the-ball incident.<\/p>\n

In matches lined up for this Sunday, Dynamos hosts Triangle United at the National Sports Stadium while Bulawayo Chiefs take on Cranborne Bullets at Luveve Stadium.<\/p>\n

Manica Diamonds and Bulawayo City lock horns at Sakubva Stadium in Mutare while Whawha entertains Tenax CS at Ascot Stadium.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Ngezi Platinum Stars host Highlanders at Baobab Stadium. The match will be screened live on ZTN Prime, DStv channel 294.<\/p>\n
