Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>An unemployed Zimbabwean-born probation officer from Sale was found dead in a hotel room.<\/p>\n

A hearing at Manchester South Coroner\u2019s Court heard that Hloniphile Moyo (25), known as Chloe to her family, was found dead in a room at the Britannia Hotel in Manchester on 24 May.<\/p>\n

She was reported missing from her home on Aintree Avenue, Sale, the day before, after she called her sister to \u201csay goodbye\u201d.<\/p>\n

Senior police coroner\u2019s officer Rita Wilkinson revealed that Chloe suffered from depression and previous suicide attempts. Said, Wilkinson:<\/p>\n

Chloe suffered from depression and previous suicide attempts and was taking sertraline and abusing alcohol to cope with her depression.<\/p>\n

She was last seen by her sister on the evening of May 2 and then on the afternoon of May 3 the deceased facetimed to say goodbye so she was reported missing from home.<\/p>\n

Activity was traced to Chloe\u2019s account and she was found [at the Brittania].<\/p>\n

Assistant coroner Adrian Farrow heard that Chloe\u2019s cause of death had been listed as alcohol toxicity, contributed to by alcohol fatty liver disease.<\/p>\n

He adjourned the hearing for a full inquest on 21 October, with an additional hearing due to take place on 19 September to ensure all necessary evidence is in place. | Manchester Evening News<\/p>\n
