Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>The Zimbabwe Peace Project (ZPP)<\/b> held its Annual General Meeting where Dzikamai Bere and Madrine Chiku were elected to the Chair and Vice-chair posts. In a statement seen by Pindula News, ZPP said the newly elected leaders bring diverse expertise and skills. Reads in [art the statement:<\/p>\n

ZPP has a new board ZPP is delighted to announce the new Board leaders elected at the Annual General Meeting held on 4th of October 2022. ZPP is confident that they will bring diverse expertise and skills necessary for the advancement of sustainable peace in Zimbabwe. The Board Chairperson is Mr Dzikamai Bere, Vice-Chairperson, Mrs Madrine Chiku and Pastor Trevor Masuku retained his seat as the Treasurer. The new Board members will greatly assist in steering the organisation to greater heights and in the fulfilment of ZPP\u2019s vision of a Zimbabwe where there is justice, peace, dignity and development for all.<\/p>\n

The Board chair, Dzikamal Bere is the National Director of the Zimbabwe Human Rights Association (ZImRights). He was the Vice-Chairperson of the outgoing Board. Dzikamal Bere is a human rights activist, a peace worker and a transitional justice expert.<\/p>\n

Madrine Chiku is the Director of Research and Advocacy (RAU) and represents the Women\u2019s Coalition of Zimbabwe (WcOZ) on the Board. Madrine holds a number of qualifications which Include Masters in Leadership and Management, Bachelor of Arts in English and Communication, a Bachelor of Religious Arts (Biblical Studies) and a Diploma In Counselling with Christian Counselling Centre.<\/p>\n
