Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>ZANU PF Youth League official, Elias Sibanda who died on Wednesday<\/b> has been declared a Provincial Hero. He was an administrative director within the party. Sibanda, age not given, was originally from Binga and was one of the directors in the party\u2019s Administration. In an update seen by Pindula News, the ruling party said:<\/p>\n

ZANU PF PATRIOTS Group Admin declared Provincial Hero Cde Elias Sibanda who died in Harare on Wednesday 12 October 2022 after a long illness is said to have been declared a Provincial Hero.<\/p>\n

Cde Elias Sibanda a tough and straightforward Cadre, is a former Mat North Youth League Provincial Spokesperson and was currently working at the Party HQ as Deputy Director ICT.<\/p>\n

He was celebrated amongst the baTonga people as he was amongst the few Tonga people who had risen to a very high position in the Party. He is survived by his wife, Similo Nkomo-Sibanda and kids.<\/p>\n

ZANU PF Matebeleland North Province wrote to the Party Headquarters on Wednesday afternoon seeking a declaration of Cde Sibanda who hails from Binga as a Provincial Hero.<\/p>\n
