Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>Manna Resorts has issued a statement following a fire that damaged part of the complex on Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n

The fire was caused by a lightning strike and destroyed part of the lodge\u2019s accommodation facilities.<\/p>\n

The statement, issued by Manna Resort CEO on 2 November 2022, says there were no human or wildlife casualties. Reads the statement:<\/p>\n

On 1 November 2022 at around 1230hrs, part of the Manna Resorts complex was struck by lightning which resulted in a fire.<\/p>\n

The impacted buildings were PaSangano Lifestyle Centre and parts of our Panzvimbo and Tata accommodation facilities.<\/p>\n

We are grateful for the swift response of both the fire brigade and emergency service that attended the site.<\/p>\n

We are happy to report that there were no human or wildlife casualties.<\/p>\n

As a result of the fire, we have reduced capacity for accommodation. However, the rest of the Manna offerings remain open as usual.<\/p>\n

We remain open for all conferences, weddings, wildlife tours and restaurant bookings as usual.<\/p>\n
