Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>Airports Company of Zimbabwe has entered into a partnership with Dandemutande<\/b> to provide Wi-Fi at the country\u2019s major airports.<\/p>\n

Wi-Fi is already functional at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport, according to the Airports Company of Zimbabwe. Read a Twitter post announcing the development:<\/p>\n

@Airports_Zim and @DandemutandeZW have entered into a partnership to provide Wi-Fi at the major airports Victoria Falls, J M Nkomo and R G Mugabe airport. Uspot gives free 100 megabytes then you pay for additional data. Brick upon brick we will get there<\/p>\n

Zimbabwe Tourism Authority, Harare Metropolitan Province, The Herald Zimbabwe, ZBC Official, NewZiana News Agency and NewsDay Zimbabwe.<\/p>\n

It is already functional at the R G Mugabe International Airport with a remarkable speed.<\/p>\n

Dandemutande is one of the leading Broadband Internet Service Providers in Zimbabwe. It offers internet connectivity through fibre, wireless and data centre services.<\/p>\n

The company has 4 major internet services brands in the market: Utande, iWayAfrica, Africa Online and YoAfrica. Dandemutande holds an IAP Class A license issued to it by the Zimbabwean telecoms sector regulator POTRAZ.<\/p>\n

Dandemutande Investments (Private) Limited was established in 1997 with its origins as a Microsoft Certified Solution Provider growing to service the corporate Internet and wholesale Internet market in Zimbabwe through its Utande brand as a Microsoft preferred ISP.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Airports Company of Zimbabwe (Private) Limited (ACZ) was formed through the Civil Aviation Amendment Act, 2018 (No.10 of 2018) to manage and operate the country\u2019s regional and international airports.<\/p>\n

The government\u2019s unbundling of the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe (CAAZ) into two entitiesin 2020 to avoid a conflict of interest led to the birth of the ACZ.<\/p>\n
