Complains Of Ill-Treatment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>Jaison Muvevi, the triple murder suspect appeared at the Harare Magistrates court today to face trial.<\/p>\n<p>The alleged murderer complained to the magistrate that he has been denied sleep by the ZRP officers. He also requested a lawyer, reported ZimLive.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey added extra handcuffs and hung me from a bar (with the handcuffs)\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Muvevi was arrested in Mozambique on Monday, 16 January after being on the run for 3 days. He is alleged to have murdered 3 people in Wedza on Friday 13 January 2023, one of them a ZRP Officer in Charge for Wedza, Inspector Maxwell Hove.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1536\" height=\"864\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-72752 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/static.africa-press.net\/zimbabwe\/sites\/14\/2023\/01\/postMediaimg_11_1.jpg\" srcset=\"https:\/\/static.africa-press.net\/zimbabwe\/sites\/14\/2023\/01\/postMediaimg_11_1.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/static.africa-press.net\/zimbabwe\/sites\/14\/2023\/01\/postMediaimg_11_1-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/static.africa-press.net\/zimbabwe\/sites\/14\/2023\/01\/postMediaimg_11_1-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/static.africa-press.net\/zimbabwe\/sites\/14\/2023\/01\/postMediaimg_11_1-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1536px) 100vw, 1536px\" \/><br \/>\nHe shot Hove during a shootout with the police after the officers responded to a murder he was accused of.
