Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>The wife of triple murder suspect Jaison_Muvevi has broken silence on her husband\u2019s alleged crimes, saying she was shocked to hear about them considering his character.<\/p>\n

Muvevi shot and killed three people in Hwedza on January 13.<\/p>\n

Speaking in public for the first time in an interview with online channel SMTV, Muvevi\u2019s wife expressed shock and disbelief about how her husband \u2014who she described as a quiet and loving man \u2014could commit such crimes.<\/p>\n

She said:<\/p>\n

He was a good man, he was quiet and loving. We have two children together \u2014one is 3 years old while the other one is a year old.<\/p>\n

She revealed that even though they were still married, Muvevi left their matrimonial home and was staying with another woman.<\/p>\n

She said:<\/p>\n

Jaison left the house in April 2022, I would just tell myself that he would come back, but I later found that he was now living with another woman.<\/p>\n

After retiring from the police force, he was now trading in gold, he had mines.<\/p>\n

On the fateful day, I had gone to pick up my child from school. I left my phone in the car and when I returned, I noticed I had a lot of missed calls. I just selected a number from them and returned the call, and that is when I was told Jaison had allegedly murdered three people in Hwedza.<\/p>\n

At that moment, I was shocked. I was shaken, couldn\u2019t even drive. I asked how that was even possible.<\/p>\n

Muvevi is currently in police custody facing murder and attempted murder charges.<\/p>\n
