Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>The Warriors\u2019 most capped player, Peter Ndlovu, was a relieved man after the Johannesburg High Court reduced the amount of maintenance one of the mothers of his 13 children was demanding.<\/p>\n

A South African newspaper, City Press, reported that the High Court ordered Ndlovu, who is currently the team manager at Mamelodi Sundowns, to pay the mother R12 000 (USD$687) per month in child support and that this should be deducted from his salary.<\/p>\n

In 2022, the Johannesburg Magistrate\u2019s Court ordered that Ndlovu pay over R29 845 (USD$1 709) per month to the woman who has two children with him.<\/p>\n

Ndlovu then filed an urgent court application to stop a garnishee order by the lower court to force his employer to dock his salary and pay child support for the two children. He said:<\/p>\n

I have 13 children, including the two children I have with the first respondent.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m obliged to contribute and see to the maintenance needs of all 13 of my children.<\/p>\n

I can simply not afford a deduction of R29 845 (USD$1 709) per month from my monthly salary.<\/p>\n

Ndlovu told the court that he only first heard of the existence of the children in 2016 when their mother filed a maintenance lawsuit against him.<\/p>\n

The well-travelled former Warriors captain, who has played for Highlanders, Coventry City and Sheffield United reportedly sired the children with several women.<\/p>\n

Ndlovu\u2019s list of \u201cBaby Mamas\u201d include Amina Esof, Alice Thabulo Miya, Pinky Duda, Lisa Rauteneimer and ex-wife and singer Sharon Dee.<\/p>\n

He is currently paying around R130 000 (USD$7 438) per month in child support according to a report.<\/p>\n
