Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) will on 25 March 2023 hold the Commissioner General of Police\u2019s 21km road race at Caravan Park in Masvingo.<\/p>\n

In a statement, ZRP national spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said athletes will compete in the 5km, 10km, and 21km races. He said:<\/p>\n

The Zimbabwe Republic Police will be hosting the Commissioner General of Police\u2019s 21km road race at Caravan Park in Masvingo on 25th March 2023 at 0600 hours.<\/p>\n

Athletes will compete in five (5) kilometres, 10 kilometres and 21 kilometres categories which include wheelchair, masters, grandmaster and tertiary, among others. Winners will walk away with various prizes.<\/p>\n

Asst Comm Nyathi said the registration fees are as follows: ZWL$5 000.00<\/b> for the 21km<\/b> and 10km<\/b> races, and ZWL$2 000.00<\/b> for the 5km<\/b> run.<\/p>\n

He said the registration is being done online and will close on 24th March 2023. Added Asst Comm Nyathi:<\/p>\n

The event which is being sponsored by Old Mutual Zimbabwe will be officiated by the Commissioner General of Police, TG Matanga.<\/p>\n
