FORMER Warriors assistant coach Lloyd Mutasa has made a swift return to local football after joining ambitious Northern Region Soccer League side MWOS on a three year contract.<\/p>\n

Mutasa was unattached after being sacked by Premier Soccer League side Green Fuel last week after a poor start to the season.<\/p>\n

The former Dynamos player was initially reassigned from Green Fuel head coach to a technical director after just one match.<\/p>\n

However, this did not result in a change of fortunes for the club after his successor Bekithemba Ndlovu also failed to win a single match.<\/p>\n

The Green Fuel leadership decided to fire both Mutasa and Ndlovu before appointing veteran coach Roswell Dhlakama last week.<\/p>\n

Mutasa appears to have quickly moved forward, agreeing to join MWOS on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Wonder Ngoko who was the MWOS head coach is now the first assistant to Mutasa.<\/p>\n

The former Dynamos and FC Platinum coach said he is excited to be joining an ambitious side like MWOS and is gunning for the title.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel honoured to be recognized by a side like MWOS, it is a good project. I also have a good relationship with Wonder Ngoko, he is a long-time friend,\u201d Mutasa said.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously I would want to enhance the performance of the players and like any other team, I would want the team to win honours. The team has a blend of experienced and young players.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mutasa\u2019s first assignment at the helm will be against ZRP Harare at Ngoni stadium on Saturday.<\/p>\n
