Khama Billiat dedicated his man-of-the-match award to the Amakhosi faithful after Kaizer Chiefs\u2019 4-2 Nedbank Cup semi-final victory over Chippa United.<\/p>\n
Billiat set up Bernard Parker for Chiefs\u2019 third before putting the cherry on the top with one of the contenders for goal of the season.<\/p>\n
\u201cFirstly, I want to thank the coach, I want to thank God, I want to thank the chairman and Amakhosi supporters that have been patient with us,\u201d Billiat told Supersport TV.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt hasn\u2019t been a great season but they deserve something.<\/p>\n
\u201cHopefully we won\u2019t just be part of the final. We want to take it home. The fans deserve better. We want to boost confidence for next season.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis award is for our supporters. It really means a lot to us the support they give us throughout the games even if sometimes we have bad games. But they are always there for us, giving us confidence.\u201d<\/p>\n
When joining the club, Billiat said he wanted to join a club with a history of winning trophies and hopes to do just that come the final on May 18 against NFD outfit TS Galaxy, who beat Golden Arrows 2-1 earlier in the day.<\/p>\n
