{"id":7977,"date":"2019-04-25T18:04:12","date_gmt":"2019-04-25T18:04:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.com\/zimbabwe\/?p=7977"},"modified":"2019-04-25T18:04:12","modified_gmt":"2019-04-25T18:04:12","slug":"2019-cosafa-cup-venues","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.cc\/zimbabwe\/all-news\/2019-cosafa-cup-venues","title":{"rendered":"2019 COSAFA Cup venues"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The COSAFA Cup will be held in Durban, South Africa and the organisers of the event have revealed the five stadiums that will be used during the two-week long tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Three venues will hosts the matches while the other two will be used for training sessions.<\/p>\n<p>The tournament will run from May 25-June 8.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a rundown on the five venues:<\/p>\n<p>MOSES MABHIDA STADIUM<br \/>\nThe Moses Mabhida Stadium will be used for the semi-finals and final of the 2019 COSAFA Cup. It has a capacity of 85,000.<\/p>\n<p>KING ZWELITHINI STADIUM<br \/>\nKing Zwelithini Stadium which is located in Umlazi suburb has a capacity of 10,000. It will be used for group games and knockout matches up to and including the quarterfinals.<\/p>\n<p>PRINCESS MAGOGO STADIUM<br \/>\nThe Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaMashu will also be used for the group games and knockout matches up to and including the quarterfinals. It has a capacity of 12,000.<\/p>\n<p>SUGAR RAY XULU STADIUM<br \/>\nThe Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium will be a training venue. It has a smaller 6,500 capacity and the stadium is located in the suburb of Clermont.<\/p>\n<p>CHATSWORTH STADIUM<br \/>\nThe Chatsworth Stadium is another training venue for the COSAFA Cup but has a large 22,000 capacity.
