Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>Supa Team 4 is set to burst onto Netflix on 20 July as the global streaming service’s first African animation series.<\/p>\n

The eight-part series, dubbed in isiZulu, celebrates the continent’s dynamic storytelling and showcases the strength, intelligence and bravery within all young people.<\/p>\n

It was created by Zambian writer Malenga Mulendema, with South African animation studio Triggerfish and leading London-based kids’ entertainment specialist CAKE as producers.<\/p>\n

Incredible African talents, including John Kani, Pamela Nomvete, Zowa Ngwira, Namisa Mdlalose, Nancy Sekhokoane and Sparky Xulu, voice the action-filled animation, with Linda Sokhulu the voice behind Mama K. International voice actors John MacMillan and Kimani Arthur complete the impressive talent lineup.<\/p>\n

In addition, Zambian rapper, singer and songwriter Sampa the Great graces the series with her musical brilliance, singing the show’s theme song.<\/p>\n
