Highlanders have parted ways with their Chief Executive Officer Nhlanhla Dube.<\/p>\n
Sources at the club have told Soccer24 that the Bosso executive will not renew the contract of the CEO which expires today. Dube was appointed to the position in May 2017 on a two-year deal, taking over from Ndumiso Gumede.<\/p>\n
The development comes following the team\u2019s poor start to the season. The Bulawayo giants are winless this term and are in the drop zone on 15th position and this has put pressure on technical director Madinda Ndlovu.<\/p>\n
Dube\u2019s tenure was marred by several player strikes with the most recent one coming during the pre-season which Madinda believes affected the team\u2019s form ahead of the 2019 season.<\/p>\n
The departure of former coach Erol Akbay seven months after Dube\u2019s appointment exposed some poor administration while the club also failed to tie down some influential players in the likes of Rahman Kutsanzira and most recently Gabriel Nyoni.<\/p>\n
The outgoing CEO will, however, be credited for his efforts to revive the club\u2019s junior policy though nothing much has been yielded so far.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
