Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>ZANU PF officials have described CCC MPs as \u201chypocrites\u201d and \u201cwolves howling to the moon\u201d after they snubbed the official opening of the 10th Parliament and State of the Nation Address (SONA) by President Emmerson Mnangagwa, reported NewZimbabwe.com.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was held at the New Parliament building in Mt Hampden on Tuesday, 03 October.<\/p>\n

CCC MPs boycotted the event saying that they do not recognise Mnangagwa\u2019s presidency.<\/p>\n

Speaking after the SONA address, ZANU PF spokesperson, Christopher Mutsvangwa said the party commands a majority in Parliament and will not be distracted by CCC MPs\u2019 antics. He said:<\/p>\n

We have the majority in Parliament and they are like wolves howling to the moon and we couldn\u2019t care less if they want to be in Parliament or not.Are you a Civil Servant or Pensioner in Zimbabwe? <\/b><\/p>\n

We will still carry on with our job of making sure that we deliver prosperity to Zimbabwe.<\/p>\n

Long gone is the politics of boycotting, people want food on their tables, people want jobs, people want all the services, people want this country to move forward.<\/p>\n

So that it can deliver the prosperity that so many sacrificed for what we are focusing on as a party.<\/p>\n

We can\u2019t be bothered by sulk losers. They have a cafeteria approach to elections, on one hand, they won all the seats in urban areas they are chest pumping themselves for winning those elections, on the other hand, they lose in the same elections.<\/p>\n

They lose the Presidential vote and they are sulking about that, you can\u2019t have your bed and lie on it, it\u2019s an ala carte menu it\u2019s either they take it all or they reject all, you can\u2019t have a selective approach so this is childishness on their part.<\/p>\n

ZANU PF chief whip, Pupurai Togarepi said CCC MPs are hypocrites and have always been like that.<\/p>\n
