Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>South African comedian Trevor Noah’s globe-trotting Off The Record tour has taken him from India to the US to home soil. Over the weekend, Noah had three gigs at London’s O2 arena, where 50 000 people came to his shows, the comedian shared on social media.<\/p>\n

The O2 arena has a capacity of 20 000 people, making it the second-largest indoor arena in the UK, after the AO arena in Manchester, in terms of capacity.<\/p>\n

“London, I am so grateful and will truly never forget these 3 nights at the O2 with you,” Noah wrote on social media.<\/p>\n

“There were 50 000 people at the shows, but it felt like an intimate club… and then on the tube ride home, it definitely felt like 50 000 people.”<\/p>\n

Noah also posted pics of himself taking the subway, seemingly after the show.<\/p>\n

Noah’s O2 arena shows took place from 23 to 25 November. It was previously reported ahead of the shows that two of the three performances had sold out.<\/p>\n

Noah has more show dates for San Francisco in the US, with his performances from 30 November to 3 December being sold out.<\/p>\n

Noah had previously performed at the O2 arena in 2021 for his Back To Abnormal World Tour.<\/p>\n

After leaving The Daily Show last year, Noah has been booked and busy, being involved in all sorts of projects.<\/p>\n

He is the host of the upcoming Prime Video comedy show LOL: Last One Laughing South Africa, which features a stacked cast of local entertainers.<\/p>\n

Noah also featured in a tourism advertisement headed by the Tourism Business Council of South Africa.<\/p>\n

Noah’s Spotify podcast What Now? has also been ongoing and has featured guests Dwayne Johnson, Kerry Washington and Bill Gates.<\/p>\n
