Africa-Press – Zimbabwe. <\/strong><\/span>Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi, is said to be considering his future with the national team.<\/p>\n

Sources have said that Iwobi is unhappy with the criticism he has received following Nigeria\u2019s outing at the 2023 Africa Cup on Nations.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, the Eagles lost the final 2-1 to host Ivory Coast, despite taking the lead in the first half.<\/p>\n

Iwobi, who plays his club football for Fulham, featured for 79 minutes before he was replaced by Alhassan Yusuf.<\/p>\n

After the game, the midfielder became the target of cyberbullies and trolls, forcing to him deleting all the media on his Instagram page.<\/p>\n

Iwobi is now actively considering not playing for Nigeria in future games.<\/p>\n
